This week the boys are home for spring break. As a mean mom this means they can help with some serious cleaning. They cleaned rooms, vacuumed hall ways, washed windows, put dishes away and switched laundry. ( aaaah, if this only meant less work for me, those of you who have children help know it is not the case but worth the lesson) They did a great job! Matthew and Tuffer insisted on having a check list which, hey, works for me. The two of them where fun to watch as they ran around checking things off there list. It was surprisingly effective.
As a reward, because I'm not that mean of a mom, they got to go to Cold Stone for ice cream afterward. I let them pick a flavor and a topping which they thought was great. They even managed to behave while we where there.
Such goofy boys! Tomorrow we tackle the laundry and yard work. After this week the house should shine! whooahahahaha!

You seriously are great with your boys! Good thing you got them trained to clean and pick up after themselves at a good age.
What adorable little boys you have! Sounds like they were busy little men! You're just preparing them for the future, their wives will sure appreciate it :)
