Nic's Trick And Boo's Surprise

Nic came to me this morning with another loose tooth. The last time he had one he came up with a creative way of getting it out by tying string between it and the door then having his brother slam the door. It worked like a charm but I missed taking pictures and a video. So when he asked if he could do it again I made him get the camera first. Here is the before picture:

Annalyn had a surprise for me today of her own. She came and told me she was poopy when she wasn't. I asked her if she needed to sit on the potty and she said yes. I took her in the bathroom and sure enough she went in the toilet!

Ya, for Boo!!!!

Valentine's Cupcakes For The Firefighters

My mom bought extra cupcakes and thought it would be nice to let Boo and Bocker take them over to the fire station.

They were very appreciative and let the kids sit in the firetruck. Nicholas loved it. Annalyn wasn't sure at first but after looking around it a bit she thought it was pretty cool.

I think it was a win win.

Cupcake Mania!

Mande enlisted my help with her orders for Valentine's Day. Thursday from about 8:30 to 5:00 we did 267 orders (1=4 cupcakes). The flavors were Red Velvet, Chocolate Supreme, Lavender Raspberry, and Pink Lemonade.

Then Sunday we made 380 orders to total 647! That is a lot of baking,standing, frosting, decorating, boxing and cleaning! We were tired. It was also a lot of fun!

All for a good cause!!

Sweetheart 5K Run

Took some time out from caking to get in a 5k. It was the sweetheart 5k in Fruita. While my honey was hunting with some guys from work the wives were running.

Thanks to Jen and my sister-in-law Kelli all my kids were taken care of.

My brother-in-law joined us but kicked all of our butts with his 22 minute time (the show off). He even ran back to run in with first my sister then me. What a nice guy!

My time was 36 minutes, not great but not bad either.

It was an awesome event and a lot of fun. Good prep training for the triathlon in May.

Ouch!!!

While playing with her brothers today Annalyn gave Herself a black eye.

All those brothers around and she does it on her own as she was going to crawl under Nic's bed.

Poor baby!

Super Bowl XLV

This year we were invited to our friends the Janz's to watch the Super Bowl. I had Mande make a special cake for the occasion.
