At Nine Months

It's hard to believe and funny to watch but Annalyn is walking already! She looks so small it doesn't seem right but she is getting good at it quick. I am not sure which is more motivating, to keep up or to get out of the way.
Shermie was baiting her with a fishing pole toy.
Oh, just missed.
She is getting big too quickly!

Being Good Is Tiresome Work

It is hard to sit still for an hour even if your not four. Nicholas sometime finds it exceptional difficult. He has been trying really hard to be good during sacrament meeting. Maybe a little too hard...
...That is some serious work there.
Yep, it takes a lot out of a person to be that good!

Tuffer Earned His Bobcat

We are so proud of Christopher for earning his Bobcat. As the Den leader it is so fun having him in scouts. He is so helpful and has good input.
Shermie earned a conservation award. Good Job boys!

Valentine's Day

It's a tradition we have to make heart shaped pancakes for Valentine's day. The boys love it and it's fun for me too.
The pancake also have sprinkles in them and color to make them pink.
Annalyn's first Valentine's Day!

Spring On the Way

With the sun shining warm and bright today it's not hard to feel spring in the air.
I was looking out my window and noticed that the birds were cleaning out the birdhouse, surely a good sign. I started thinking about flowers sprouting and being able to open my windows again. I was getting very excited. Then I heard it's may snow again tomorrow. I guess I will enjoy it while it lasts.
I have an indoor flower anyway.

Nothing Say Love Like a Chocolate Chip Cookie

The other day Sherman brought home chocolate chip cookies. One of which he gave to Annalyn. The look on her face says it all...
Thanks Dad!

Pinewood DerbyVideo

Thought we would share some footage.(I'm the Wolf leader)

Look how close the race was between Shermie and Christopher:

And the Winner Is...

We had 23 cars of the 25 that were past out at the Pinewood Derby Saturday. All the boys did a great job with them.

Pop pop, Sherman and the boys doing the last minute touch ups. We had a really nice turn out even though we started at 8:00 in the morning. So the winner's of the 2010 Pinewood Derby are...

Shermie in First Place
Tuffer in Second Place
Those were some pretty nice looking, fast cars! I was so excited and proud of them both. The hardest was when they raced each other. Even though we had to buy lunch we couldn't be happier. Thanks boys for the fun day.
