Tuffer Class Project

Tuffer was nice enough to volunteer me to help with his clss project again this year. We wanted to make something unique, personalize, fun and useful. This is what we came up with. A Seasons Tree/clock.

First we did the background using the tops of their hands to put the color blocks on. When we had that done I took it home and painted the tree.
The next day I took it back and let the kids but "leaves" on the tree with their finger
and then sign their work on the tree with a fine point sharpie. The trick was to make the signatures visible without being overbearing.

I think they did a great job! With that done I took it home again to finish the final details.
Gloss finish paint, frame, and clock.
It went for an awesome price at the silent auction!

Here some pictures of the fun we had at the pumpkin patch this last weekend.
The giant inflated trampoline!

Our friend Ben  and his daughter.

I love this picture!

The large side. Annalyn wasn't afraid at all she wanted to keep going down it.

Fall is Falling In My Yard

With the yard looking like a mass casualty leaf graveyard I got my slave labor out to clean up the carnage. What a hard worker.Wait a minute that doesn't look like work!
Hey stop that!
What are you doing?!
Now I have to start all over again....MOM!
Those Boys are NAUGHTY!

Fall In

Fallen leaves are always a blast. This is the first batch of the year. Annalyn's first fall. She tried to eat a leaf.
I think we racked them at least a dozen times but it wasn't getting old. The were trying to out do each others jump into the leaves.
The boys made themselves human rakes to get them to the street.
Can you spy all four boys?

Leaves, Leaves and More Leaves

The boys were out raking leaves up again today. They do such a good job. As they got done with the back yard, we heard the leaf pick-up truck coming into the neighborhood. So Sherman Peter helped them get the front yard done before it got to our house. They finished just in the nic-of-time.
