Christmas Fun!

We had a great Christmas, here is some of the fun we had. Sunday we had dinner and present at Grandma and Grandpa's before they went to Denver. Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa!

Bridger and Maddi came to play on Tuesday and it was a blast. They all loved playing together.

Christmas Eve we went and saw The Tale of Despereaux. I thought it was good and the kids liked it. Christmas morning we opened presents at our house.

We then went to Gramie and Pop Pop's house for more presents and breakfast. Sherman looks pretty cool in his Bronco head. Matthew and Nic got super hero gloves and hats. They can hardly stand to take them off. Uncle Mikey came for breakfast and it was fun to have him there. Thank you, Gramie and Pop Pop!

Christmas dinner was at our house. It was nice to have everyone here and to enjoy one another company. We hope everyone had a Great Christmas where ever you were. We send you all Seasons Greetings and our best wishes for a Happy New Year!

First Tournament of Wrestling

This weekend the boys wrestled at the Little Dawgs Tournament. They has two different options for weight-ins. Wrestlers could weight in that day or the night before. I chose that day which in hind sight was not the best. We had to get up a little before six in the morning to be there early to do them. This made for a very long day. They were suppose to start at 8:30 but started an hour late or better. Then they had the brackets all screwed up so you really had to pay attention. In Shermie's they had a kid who got two bys straight to the final until Sherman Peter pointed it out. But what can you do. It was still worth it. The boys did Awesome!!!! They each wrestled their hardest. This is how it ended, Shermie took 2nd (missed 1st by only one take down), Tuffer took 4th (he fought and worked hard), Matthew took 2nd (the coach for the other boy was heard to mumble, "Man! he's aggressive" about Matt, my thought was "no duh!"), and Nicholas took 2nd (having taken down a kid a whole head taller). They really did EXCELLENT!

Part II Tournament Video

Here are a few of their matches. Shermie's is the one he lost but it was so close and he did so good I just had to share it. Tuffer also lost his but it was still a great effort. The other two won theirs and are fun to watch. You probably want to turn the sound down though or you will hear a lot of yelling from me, oops.

Bocker's Christmas Program

Nicholas had his Christmas program this week. He of course was the cutest one there. He did a great job! Matthew decided to return the naughty favor and had a hard time sitting still. (might that have something to do with the fact that he was sitting next to Pop pop? Mmmm I think so)

They even had a visit from Santa Claus.

Doctor's Appointment

We went into see my doctor today for a regular appointment. Sherman Peter went with me. I had said we maybe able to get a sneak peek if we were put in the right exam room which we were not, much to Sherman's disappointment. When the doctor came in Sherman asked if we got a fifth child sneak peek. Since the ultra sound tech wasn't busy he said we could. This is what we got and she's a girl!!! Look how sweet she looks.
Sucking her thumb.
Sherman saw this one and said, "Oh, that's a girl."
Baby feet aren't they cute!!
Thank you, Kevin, for the peek!

The Tree is Up...But Who's Turn is it to Put on the Star

The boys take turns putting the star on the tree. There was some discussion over who's turn it was this year. Sherman had told Shermie that he could do it. I had told Tuffer it was his turn. This was easily determined by consulting the Star box as we keep track of this on it's side. (Sherman writes it down every year) Guess who was right. When will they learn? ;0)
Putting up the tree is one of my favorite thing at this time of year. It's fun to pull out all the different hand made ornaments and talk about who made them or where we got others. The boys especially love their "1st Christmas" ones the best.

We let the boys decorate the tree themselves. It's always tempting to me to go and redistribute the ornaments when they get too concentrated in one area but this year I think It turned out very nice.

What a nice looking bunch.

Matthew's Christmas Concert

Matthew had his kindergarten music program the other night. When I got there his music teacher came running over to me and said, "Wait until you see Matthew! When he is singing, it is so loud and he is so intense with the hand motions. It is hilarious, I just love it!". I knew exactly what she meant having witnessed this at church and other programs. I was glad to see that someone other than me got it. While we waited for it to start, I was letting Nic blow off some steam hoping he would behave better later (it didn't work). At one point when there got to be to many people to continue letting him run, he got a little out of control and fell off the low, risers. There was a gasp from the crowd as they watched him fall. He rolled out of it and was on his feet when he saw me coming. (as a wrestling mom it was a very impressive move) Knowing he hadn't been hurt I, some what calmly (I was mad because I had already told him to sit down), chased him down and swatted his butt, not even bothering to check him out for injuries. Probably not what the crowd was expecting. I got a few confused and dirty looks but it made me chuckle because that's just Bocker. He knows how to fall. When the program started Nic got a little better but not much. Matthew did a great job. He had us laughing the whole time with his antics. It was super fun to watch.

Stuffed!!!

I don't now about you but I'm stuffed. What a week!

We had all of Sherm's family in town. That's Susan, Steve, Jessie, Darrin, Eathan, Gavin, Katie, Sherman, me, Shermie, Tuffer, Matthew, Nicholas, Stevie, Scott, Jen, Savannah, Sydney, and Spencer. Shoooooo! We had a great time. The Boys love playing with their cousins (fighting with them too). There was never a dull moment.

I think though, that in the future the game RISK is going to have to be ban because the bigger Boys get too into it and with the help of the antagonist (you know who you are, if you don't it starts with a "D"...just kidding) it got pretty heated. =) It was pretty amusing to be watching and not playing, it made me laugh.

We had family pictures done which I think are going to turn out great. Kelli did a good job getting it all done before the kids lost it. Thanks Kel!!! ( she said she'd have a DVD for everyone on Friday of this week and we will mail them to you so you can choose what you want)

Those who went home missed out on some great Filipino Adobo that Spencer made on Saturday night so Nananana! Thanks Spens, I have been craving it for weeks! Masurap!

It was good to see everybody. Have a good Holiday Season! Love you all!
