Boo Baby Turns 1!

Happy Birthday ANNABOO!

I can hardly believe she is a year old already! She has been so much fun. Annalyn is a girly girl. She likes to be a priss, loves getting her toe nails painted, and is shoeaholic. She is the queen to her brothers (which they are always happy to oblige). She is our little princess and very much a Daddy's girl. She has him wrapped around her finger. Annalyn is My little Sweetheart.

Aunt Dee made her birthday cake. It turned out so awesome! The fountain in the middle came off to give Annalyn her own cake. Thanks Dee!!

She got a new baby doll and stroller that she loves to push around. She had fun opening all her presents and puts them all to good use. Especially the shoes.

Matthew was enjoying her presents too! Isn't he Cute (He will Kill Me Later)! Check out the cute princess and her sparkly shoes. She really liked the cake.
I mean REALLY liked it. This picture is so sweet! (thanks Kelli)I am so grateful to have her she is the last piece to our puzzle and so worth it. We are so lucky to have her to brighten our hearts.

WE LOVE YOU ANNALYN!

Matthew's Birthday!

Happy Birthday BEAN! For his birthday Matthew went over to his Aunt D's house to make his birthday cake. He wanted it to be a pizza cake. Aunt D said she supervised but he basically made this cake himself. Very impressive I think he may have a job.
We had everyone over for PIZZA and Pizza CAKE. What goes better with pizza then pizza?
I can't believe how quick they grow. He's Seven already!
Somethings about Matthew:

He doesn't let anything stop him.
He is strong and self confident.
He is a great big brother.
He loves to laugh and make people laugh.
He is a leader. (weather you want to follow or not)

We Love You Bean!

First Day of Spring (also known as Shermie's Birthday!)

Our first day of spring was a busy one. The First order of business was to go have Family/Easter pictures with Aunt Kelli. She had a live rabbit and the boys were all a little chicken of it. Annalyn wasn't to sure either but I think Kelli was able to get some really cute shots.

Second order of business was lunch, we went out for Shermie's birthday. All of the kids were so good and well behaved. It was a nice time.

We had a tree trimmed and opted to do the clean up ourselves. So the third order of business for the day was to cut and load up the branches into the truck.

The boys enjoyed watching Dad use the chain saw. But not so much the clean up. Even still they worked hard and did a great job!
The truck was overflowing when we finished. Just in time to go to the a movie for Shermie's Birthday. We saw "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" which was a reward for Shermie having read all of the books. It was a funny movie that we all enjoyed.Nic was given the option of going or staying with Grandma and Annalyn. After thinking it over he decided to stay with his Grandma.

Sherman said to him: How come that Grandma loves you so much?

Nic: Because I love her just a little more than Mom.

After the movie we came back to our house to have cake and ice cream. Aunt Dee made this awesome Super Mario Brother's Mushroom cake for Shermie.Very cool.
Here are somethings about:

1) He is a Great, Wonderful, Loving, Caring, Awesome big brother and son. He helps me everyday. He is the "go to" guy to help with Annalyn. His brothers love to play with him.

2) He loves to read. Shermie has developed a love of reading. We don't even have to tell him to read anymore because usually he is already doing it

3) He is responsible. They have asked him at school to be a Student Mediator. He takes it seriously and helps those who need it with reason and a level head.

4) He has a great sense of humor, sometimes above his age. When a friend was being bugged on the bus Shermie stopped the bully, to which the bully said, "I going to kick your @#$!@". Shermie's reply was, " Oh, good my !@#@ can use a kicking". While this might not have been the first choice for most people it defused the situation as everyone involved started laughing. (I let him know next time "butt" would be a better alternative)

Happy Birthday Shermie!! We Love you!

Tuffer Turn's Eight

Has it been 8 years already. I can believe how fast it goes. It seems like just yesterday I was going to bed with a "stomach ache" and then at 10:30 p.m. having contractions every five minutes. Gramie had Pop Pop come stay with Shermie while Dad and I went to the hospital. I remember Dad and Dr. Howell sitting against the wall in the delivery room talking like they were watching a football game. Every time I had a contraction they would stop talking, lean forward and yell, "Push, push, push, push" and then go back to talking. They didn't do this to long because you came quickly. You where born at 1:44 am weighting 8 lbs 3.9oz and where 20 inches long. Just look at all that dark hair! Where did it go? Now it's blond.
You were a super baby. Everyone told us how cute you were. When you were about four or five months old there was a baby beauty pageant in town so we entered you in it and you won first place!!
You are a great kid, so laid back and loving. You have a heart of gold. Your smile always lights my day. You love your brothers and are such a good big brother to your sister. They all look up to you.

We all love you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUFF-MAN!!

6yrs, Matthew Steven

Happy Birthday Bean! Our little "Boss", Matthew likes to be in charge. He has a happy, fun personality and a laid back attitude (as long as thing go as he thinks they should).
Don't let the Tough Guy persona fool you he's a real lover.
I went into labor with him at about noon. The weather outside was very nice so I spent a lot of time walking back and forth across our backyard as I talked to our neighbor Terry and her birds (she had a macaw and cockatoo that liked to sit on top of the chain link fence).
Sometime around 6:30 0r 7:00p.m. we decided that the contractions where close enough to go to the hospital. Gramie and Grand-ma met us there and stayed while Matthew was born. He came out at 9:48 p.m. (not sure which felt worse his head or his shoulders). He was the biggest weighing in at 9lbs. 6oz. and 20.5 inches long.
With Matthew it's always full force. He is a very likable kid and we are grateful to have such a strong little charmer in our home!
Love you, Matter-Bean!

9 Yrs, Sherman Carter Alexander 3-20-00

Here is the Cutest, Sweetest Baby in the world! (one of them anyway) I went into labor early in the morning on the first day of spring, it was snowing. I labored at home until about 5:00 p.m. when Sherman Peter came home from work. At that point we went to the hospital to be checked. When I got there I was already at a 6 cm. They gave me some medicine, then I went down the hall to get into the jacuzzi. I was in it for one contraction and felt the need to push so they rushed me back to my room and called Dr. Howell. You were born at 6:57 after two pushes.
You had dark hair and weighed 7lbs 14oz and were 22 inches long. You had a little trouble breathing so you stayed in the NI CU for one week.

Mom stayed the whole week in a little courtesy room, that looked like a closet, so she would be close to you. Dad came every night after work and stayed too. We were so glad to finally bring you home! Dad watched you sleep all night because with every noise you made he wanted to make sure you were alright.
We are so luck to have such a good kid! You brighten our home with your smile and humor. You are so smart and we are always impressed with the things you come up with. You are such a good helper and I appreciate all you do. Your brothers look up to you and love you because you are such a good example to them. You are growing to quickly for me. Thank you for choosing to come to our family.
Happy Birthday Sherman Carter! We love you so much!!
